Is surgery for sweating safe?

Is surgery for sweating safe?

Complications generally depend on the type of surgeon you select. If you select a good surgeon who knows what he/she is doing, then you may not have any complications. However, if you pick a dumbo, of which there are plenty, you can rest assured you will have complications.

Besides pain, injury to the thoracic duct and the stellate ganglia can occur. This can result in drooping of the eyelid and a dilated pupil. These complications are permanent. Some people with a droop eyelid need eyelid surgery to correct the complication, which adds more to the cost.
