Treating blepharitis

I have been diagnosed with blepharitis. What should I do at home?

The first thing to do is avoid going to many doctors. The more healthcare professionals you see, the more contradictory advice you will be given.

In most cases, the treatment of blepharitis is home care remedies. Several times a day apply a warm compress over the eyes, and this will clean the area and sooth any itching sensation.

Rinse your face well several times a day. The other thing you must do is to avoid any dandruff. Use a dandruff shampoo and within a few days you will be fine. Do not use fragrances, mascara or eye make up- as these agents carry many synthetic chemicals that can flare up the blepharitis.
