I am a 44 year old diabetic and recently was treated by my
podiatrist for my foot infection. The infection is still present. What should I
do?
I would go and see a real doctor-not some wanna be who never
made it to medical school. You first need to have your leg pulses assessed and make sure
the blood is getting there. If the blood flow is blocked, you can take antibiotics
till next Christmas and nothing will happen.
Secondly, you have to make sure you
do not have a fungal infection. That can be evaluated by looking at skins scrapings.
All diabetics should see reputable doctors because even a minor infection can
rapidly become florid and lead to an amputation. See a real doctor TODAY.
