Difficulty swallowing

I have been having difficulty swallowing but the blood tests were all negative. I am 30 years old. Is there an easy way to find out the cause?

Well, first you need to change your doctor. The person is a buffoon. People who have difficulty swallowing usually do not benefit from blood work- doctors order these tests just to enrich themselves.

If you are 30, the cause may be anxiety, GERD or achalasia. Before a diagnosis of globus hystericus is made, the doctor must rule out reflux and achalasia. Both these require testing and are available in all hospital. There is something called nutcracker esophagus, but I would let the doctor worry about it. The tests that you require are a barium swallow, endoscopy or a test for reflux. Please change your doctor.
