Creatinine to build muscles in a diabetic


I am a type 1 diabetic and want to build my body. Is there any reason why I cannot take creatine?

Creatine is a widely used supplement to build the body. It is relatively safe and anecdotal reports indicate that it may increase muscle mass and exercise endurance. I think you can take it as long as you closely monitor your blood sugars before and after exercise. Eat a healthy diet and do not smoke.
